I just thought I would start out with an entry about one of my favorite places on the planet.  If you live on the East Coast it is well worth the trip to Plum Island.  It is really not an island actually but more of a penisula but oh well it feels like an island.  It was a favorite vacation point of my parents and I grew to understand why later in life this place is like a magical drug that you are drawn to.  Even the people that live on the island year around are a different breed of person.  You just have to walk these beaches and take a boat out on the bay side to understand the power of this place.  It is not just nature, the sea and the air it is the fluid natural of this island.
